This very comprehensive 14-day Namibia safari cover all of the top destinations in Namibia.
The tour also includes the 2 main tourist destinations, the Etosha National Park and Sossusvlei / Namib-Naukluft National Park, but also covers the far southern region with the Fish River Canyon. And include diverse interests such as the Himba Tribe, Damaraland wilderness region, the predator cats at the Africat Foundation. Swakopmund on the southern Skeleton Coast, Namib-Naukluft Park and many smaller interesting points in between!.
Departing from Windhoek, we begin our travel towards the south of Namibia,
and the town of Keetmanshoop. Our first destination is to visit to the
one-of-a-kind only tree aloes in the world, called Quiver Trees.
Leaving the Quiver Tree forest behind, we make our way to visit the majestic Fish River Canyon. From the Fish River Canyon, we travel to one of the most significant Southern Africa rivers, the Orange River. This river forms the border between South Africa and Namibia.
Next in line is the stunning mountains at Klein Aus, and then on to the small fishing village of Luderitz on the Atlantic coast.
Leaving the coast behind us, we travel up via the spectacular scenic Southern Namib Desert and Namaland, for two nights at the highest dunes on earth at Sossusvlei. Here you will have time to experience the world’s highest fossilized sand dunes. From the dunes of the Namib desert, we go back to Windhoek for one night at a Windhoek Guesthouse (Included), and then on to the second half of the safari.
Now we go north, to visit the predator cats at Okonjima. From Africat, we travel to the Etosha Park. Etosha is regarded as one of the very best and diverse wildlife sanctuaries in Africa. We systematically explore the many waterholes of Etosha with game drives, and even at night, there is still time to see wildlife at the flood-lighted camp waterholes.
Departing Etosha, we travel into the rugged Kaokoland, to pay a visit to one of Namibia's more very traditional tribes; the Himba.
Panoramic Damaraland is our next destination to explore. From here, we make our way onto the southern Skeleton coast, to the scenic sea-side town of Swakopmund on the Atlantic Coast. From Swakopmund we will return back to Windhoek, for the end of our safari.
